A creative whirlwind
A creative whirlwind
According to my parents, I’ve been a creative whirlwind ever since I first picked up a pencil at age 3. While acing my studies, I dabbled in dance, drama, and pottery—basically, any activity that let me avoid math. Winning art contests in school only confirmed what I already knew: creativity was my destiny (and my best excuse for doodling in class).

In my pre-university years, I was obsessed with fashion and makeup. Naturally, I pursued a bachelor’s in Fashion Design, where I dived into visual arts, graphic design, fashion styling, and photography.

I literally grew up with my grandparents and they instilled values of empathy, sustainability, and giving back. During my bachelor’s, I wanted to give back—teaching art to underprivileged kids, painting murals at schools and supporting events for the visually impaired, all while perfecting the art of running deadlines.

I landed my first job as a digital stylist at Charmboard, an in-video discovery platform that basically made streaming videos touchable—because who doesn’t want to tap on a jacket in a movie and instantly buy it? Working on the product sparked my curiosity about user experience. So, I took the leap into UX/UI design, enrolled in a bootcamp, and soon landed a role at a startup, where I handled client projects—officially kicking off my product design journey!

For two years, I worked as a UX/UI designer at startups in India, happily pushing pixels—until I got obsessed with how design actually drives business (because let’s be honest, pretty screens alone don’t pay the bills). This curiosity led me to Berlin, where I pursued a Master’s in Strategic Design while juggling a UX/UI student job on the side. After graduating, I joined ChargeNow as their in-house Product Designer, leading design for their B2C and B2B product lines, where I got a crash course in product strategy and balancing stakeholders.

Life took a plot twist at the end of 2024 when I moved to Ireland after marrying my partner—turns out, love is the ultimate relocation package! Now, I’m on the hunt for Product Design or UX/UI roles in Ireland, ready to design great user experiences.

Why I obsess about impact
Why I obsess about impact
It just feels right to be at the intersection of tech + people + planet, the sweet spot of innovation. For me, design is all about impact; if it doesn’t improve lives or the world, what’s the point? As a design detective, I love diving into user research, data, and problem-solving to create meaningful solutions—whether it’s saving time or reducing carbon footprints.

Recently, I shared insights with female students on design thinking, business strategy, and career growth, helping empower their path to independence. For product teams, I’ve curated strategic design tools on Figma Community to drive innovation. I designed visuals for a COVID awareness video to spread knowledge and keep people safe.

There is no "one way" to design, I believe it is an iterative process. These are some of my go-to ingredients that I apply to add flavour to my designs. Read here.
